"Grape growing and winemaking has existed in Victoria since the mid-1800s. The pest phylloxera however widely damaged our regions and led to a delicine from the 1890's until around the 1950's. Seventy years on our wine regions are revitalised with more than 800 wineries and over 600 cellar doors, making Victoria a vibrant and exciting wine state again.
