🍺 Barrel Aged Strong Ale with Vanilla & Chocolate • 🥴 9% ABV⁠

Sweet, but not too sweet, there's a balance of flavour to this strong ale which makes it a real treat to drink. ⁠

🍺 Oat Cream IPA • 🥴 6.3% ABV⁠

Even if Oat Creams aren't exactly your hoppy cup of tea, you're in for a juicy little joyride with this one. ⁠

🍺 Session IPA • 🥴 4% ABV⁠

Get cozy, chuck on some Iron Maiden, throw in a little Metallica, maybe round it out with some Megadeath...and then relax. ⁠

🍺 Nitro Imperial Pastry Stout • 🥴 10.9% ABV⁠

Now pop a couple marshmallows in your mouth and read that name five times fast. The residual sugar in pastry stouts mean they tend to skew towards the 'Imperial' category quite quickly, but at 10% this one is surprisingly quaffable.⁠

🍺 Black IPA • 🥴 10.9% ABV⁠

In the spirit of 'vengefulness' here are some fighting words: If you hate Black IPAs, maybe you just haven't had a well-executed one. ⁠'Vengeful Resolution' starts with soft toffee notes and quickly flips the palate towards a long, dry, bitter finish.

🍺 Hoppy Orange Farmhouse Ale • 🥴 5.1% ABV⁠

If the brief here was 'citrus, spice and everything nice' then this hoppy orange farmhouse ale has absolutely nailed it. Heaps of orange rind and coriander are rounded out by a heavily dry-hopped finish. ⁠

🍺 Australian Wild Ale Fermented on Wheat Straw • 🥴 4% ABV⁠

If we could bottle up this aroma and spray it around the house, we would. It's got a prominent potpourri quality - in a good way - which lends itself super well to the funky hay notes of this wild ale. The wheat is very present here but isn't overpowering, making way for some soft lemon zest. ⁠

🍺 Dry IPA with Grapefruit • 🥴 6% ABV⁠

Day 9 of Canvent and we're feeling ~ fine ~ over here! Thanks largely in part to this refreshing little number. The grapefruit really shines here, and its high carbonation keeps it punchy.

🍺 Chardonnay Barrel Aged Imperial Pilsner • 🥴 9% ABV⁠

A complex combination of an increased malt base, NZ hops and fruity wine-like esters. The Chardonnay barrel ageing only ads to this complex aroma and contributes to this brew's beautiful deep straw colour.⁠

🍺 Hazy Pale Ale • 🥴 5.6% ABV⁠

With its piney and grapefruit laden aroma, dusty wheat colour and refreshing finish, this approachable hazy is one tasty little number. If you've never had a Fox Friday beer, you're in for a real treat! ⁠

🍺 Abalone, Lemon & Aniseed Myrtle Gose • 🥴 5% ABV⁠

This is one of those beers that, put in the wrong hands, is probably not very tasty. Entrusted to Sailors Grave's Chris Moore, however, and it's earthy, fruity, salty decadence. ⁠⠀

🍺 Oat Cream Pale Ale • 🥴 4.9% ABV⁠

Dude, I am so hungry. And thirsty. I want, like, something kinda sweet. But... Also, like, like a beer, y'know? Like a beautiful, awesome beer, man. Let's go to the 7/11. We Should get some oats.

🍺 Hoppy Passionfruit Sour 🥴 4.7% ABV⁠

The passionfruit in this 'hoppy passionfruit sour' really steals the show here, giving us a perfect level of acidity. The hop character contributes to its tropical aroma and provides a nice, dry finish.

🍺 West Coast IPA 🥴 7% ABV⁠

We're getting bubblegum on the nose, a nice, full mouthfeel and bright fruit notes alongside layered bitterness. It's both true to style and delightfully complex. ⁠

🍺 Oat Cream Imperial Stout with Coffee, Cacao & Vanilla 🥴 8% ABV⁠

We're getting maple candy on the nose, a beautiful caramel coloured head and strong coffee character. Great coffee, at that!

Part wild ale, part saison, this bière de coupage dances on your palate with just enough funk to keep it interesting, and just enough herbaceousness to feel balanced.

🍺 Hazy Pale Ale 🥴 5.5% ABV⁠

It's a tropical citrus fruit bomb, thanks to Cashmere and Citra hops leading the way with big hits of lemon and lime.⁠

🍺 Hoppy Sour with Blood Plum 🥴 3.8% ABV⁠

This drop is low ABV and fermented in traditional wooden foeder tanks. The blood plum is a welcome addition, really upping the complexity and adding a gorgeous colour. It's textural and fruity, but the added hop character gives the plums a more punchy and earthy quality.⁠

🍺 Triple IPA 🥴 10.2% ABV⁠

Drinks a little like a West Coast IPA meets hoppy American barleywine. It's ambitious and balanced for its 10.2 per cent and, like Spotty Dog, it's a modern iteration of many beers which came before it. ⁠

🍺 Farmhouse Ale with Ginger & Lime 🥴 3.9% ABV⁠

Crack this farmhouse open and a massive ginger aroma escapes before giving way to short citrus notes. Take a sip and experience much the same: heavy ginger, followed by lime and great carbonation to keep it feeling extra refreshing. ⁠

🍺 Belgian Dark Strong Ale 🥴 9% ABV⁠

True to style, with dark fruit flavours balanced out by a rich malt character. It's brewed using traditional methods, fermented in open tanks to showcase the complexities of its Belgian Abbey yeast. ⁠

🍺 Russian Imperial Stout 🥴 13% ABV⁠

This Russian Imperial Stout is an intense, velvety mix of raisin and dark chocolate flavours. Its rich, tan head traps in a toasty aroma full of dark fruit character.
