The old-style Quetsche Tilquin (6.4% alc / vol) is a spontaneous fermentation beer produced from the fermentation of plum and pitted plums in a blend of 1 and 2 year Lambics for a period of 4 months. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it is fermented in bottle for a minimum duration of 3 months. Its taste is sour and acidulous but presents a fruity and round side that makes this Quetsche more accessible. It also has a slight dryness from the skin of the plums. Subtle hints of plum wine on the nose.
