Four Pillars Christmas Gin 2017
It has arrived!
Cam MacKenzie's most anticipated tradition has been eagerly awaited for some time now. It all starts with the rather festive experiment of distilling Christmas puddings (his mum's 50 year old recipe) with juniper, cinnamon, star anise, coriander and angelica.
Then, a separate gin is distilled and aged in century old ex-Rutherglen Muscat casks (that themselves are ex-ex-William Grant Whisky barrels). The two gins are then blended together with a touch more Rutherglen Muscat to bolster that sweet and sticky complexity.
To add to this already incredible gin, Cam has added a touch of their own Muscat, which itself has seen time in an ex-Pedro Ximinez barrel.
